ELECTRICAL INSPECTION ACT CANADIAN ELECTRICAL CODE REGULATIONS Pursuant to section 5 of the Electrical Inspection Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. E-3, Council made the following regulations: 1. In these regulations (a) “Code” means the 2006 Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, Twentieth Edition; (b) “Department” means the Department of Communities, Cultural Affairs and Labour. (EC493/08) 2. (1) The Code, subject to the amendments, variations, additions and revocations as set out in Schedule A of these regulations, adopted under section 5 of the Act for the purposes of section 2 of the Act, is the 2006 Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, Twentieth Edition. (2) For the purposes of these regulations, the amendments to the Code, as set out in Schedule A of these regulations, use the same numbering systems as applied in the Code and as identified in Schedule B of these regulations.
